Default help choosing motor.. ls-vtec OR ls-t OR h22 (possibly h22t)

I need help deciding what motor to put in my 95 eg..

Should i go with the LS motor, and from there decide if i wanna do LST or LS Vtec...?

Or should i go h22.. h22 is a big motor though..

I dont know what to do!!!

Any ideas would be greatly appriciated..

what are your goals? if you're staying stock suspension, dont do the h22, because, although not *that* much heavier than a B-Series, it WILL throw off your handling a bit; if you're swapping suspension with adjustable suspension, then by far, go H22-T out of those choices. If you're keeping stock suspension, then I would go LS-T.

LS-T is the cheapest and most effective solution me thinks

ever think of h2b? mounting a h series block to a b series trans. very successful and will enable you to run mid to high 12s with a fairly stock motor.

i would say the Ls seems to be most cost effective, i was going for Ls-T at first, later decided on LsVtec-T, and now im js finishing my Lsv build

hww can get a little exspensive. im not familiar with the cost of building an ls, but if u went that route you have many options as to what you would like to do.

h22 wont mess with your handling if you do an h2b. Plus you get better handling.

If you can afford h2b, (similar in price to a gsr swap) go for it. Great motor from the get go.

And you can certainly boost it down the road.

but h22 is plenty fast for me n/a.

high 12's are common among bone stock h22 hatches.

I had a stock ls turbo integra 10lbs with a t3/t4 DRAG kit tuned on crome program and i raced a friend of mine in a h22 ek with headers and chipped ecu I raced him from the stop light and honestly I was only about a car infront of him until the end of 4th gear until we let off so now I have a h22 ek with more bolt ons and tuned on crome and a 125 shot of nitrous so defenitely h22 if you want a shorter geared tranny just put a 4.6 final drive in it and it will kind of be like a gsr tranny

I'm aware of that. It doesn't mean it's a cable transmission.
