Default Bosch In Tank Fuel Pickup

I decided to ditch my old Walbro in tank pump, and now I am using a Bosch 044 fuel pump. I didn't want to sump the tank , but might in the near future.

Do you guys think I will have any pickup problems under acceleration or deceleration?

The sock sits in the original location, and the pump is going to be mounted about 1.5' of line away. The pickup line is -8 and the return is -6. The oem tank baffling is untouched.

Thanks

Curious, how mush did it run you for all those fittings?

I run the exact same setup..Works fine, but you never wanna run low fuel in the tank..With sump setups you can get away with running lower fuel levels, but i try to keep the tank atleast 1/4 tank always..

I had most of the fittings, I just needed to purchase the bulkheads which were around $15 I think.

I plan to keep about 5 gallons in the tank, maybe more to add weight.

I have that same set-up but without the filter/sock. Been running it for the past 3 years, no issues. That setup with a bosch 044 and 1000cc should be enough fuel for 660-670whp.
