Default looking for reliability reccomendations for turbo LS

ok guys here goes........

please let me know what you would reccomend to have a reliable camaro killer and still be able to drive to work every day...

this is what i have....(nothing installed except exhaust and intake right now and coils and jdm conversion and soem other sheat)
GARRETT TURBO A/R.60
jdm sport intercooler
xs power ramhorn manifold
hondata s300
apexi n1 full exhaust to the headers with ls cat

my question is, what else do i need to purchase in order to make this set up not blow my motor>??
I am aiming for 250hp

i want a car that looks good and goes kinda fast, but not the FASTest, yadidamean!?!? my car has 102,000 its a 99 LS........I had LS/vtec, didnt excite me much.....converted back to LS for low compression for the turbo.
I figure there is not going to be much difference except redline because when you go ls/vtec turbo , youlose the vtec but keep the redline........i dont have the capabilite (cash) to build up the bottom right now so i figure LS-T would be legit......

any recomendations on what bolt on brands/models for fuel rale or anything else would be appreciated.....

andif anyone knows where i can tune my car on a dyno in the east bay area please let me know. Tanks ..........please dont bump.......looking for experienced peeps who have done this themselves....

get rid of the xs power manifold your also gonna need bigger injectors hard pipes and such it could go all day it also depends on your budget but you should go to the force induction section there is a 410 page ls turbo thread

The xs power manifold has been known to crack, but there are some people on here who've had luck with it.
Maybe get some injectors and a high flow fuel pump and a 3inch turbo-back exhaust.

You can, but it would bottleneck it. If you're going to do a 2.5 then I would probably go with a 2.5 downpipe. See what everyone else says first though. Why don't you want a straight pipe? If it's too loud you can get multiple resonators on there.

ditch the manifold and get something that wont fall apart. you'll need bigger injectors and a bigger pump. then you'll need something to tune with.

i heard that youhave to use "caps" on tthe head and the vtec power is lossed and therefore all you have is the redline and no powerband........plus the vtec is off of the back pressure as well change all that and you really lose the power band , but you have turbo now sooooo..........it dont matter

ya the car is pretty dang loud as it is without any resonators, i drive by cars and set off alarms all the time, and in the bay area there are pop0s all over tha place, so its hard to drive quietly and the speed limit and get away with all the bolt ons....

that made no sense whatsoever

you basically downgraded by going back to a straight ls

what the hell are you trying to say? english is the language used on this forum. a stock vtec head will flow better than a stock non-vtec head. after all, there's a reason why the b18c makes more power than the b18b.
