recent ls/vtec build, and my idle runs really high @ about 2k steady. about 1.9-2 when cold and 1.6-7 when warm. my concern is the timing possibly being off by a tooth on my belt, however i don't have access to a timing light until tomarrow. 99% sure it's not a vacuum leak, and i'm not throwing any codes. it also has seems to be a _little_ hesitant to accelerating, i only noticed it when trying out a little WOT for the first time since the build, another reason i think the timing could be off.

dont drive it then until you get the timing light. a whole tooth doesnt seem like much but it could cause some serious problems. I would put the motor back at tdc then check your cam timing again. that way you dont have to wait till you get a timing light.
