My eg won't start. I don't know whats wrong with it. Its not the batterie because all my lights turn on when the turn the ignition. But when i turn it all the way to start it .. it won't start. No sound nothing.

 

check your main relay under the hood

 

whats the main relay?

 

look in your fuse box under the hood. look at the diagram it should say main or engine relay. or just take a look at them all and make sure the contacts are not melted. the tops are see thru so you can see if they are.

 

they're all fine. now when i try to start the car. a rattling noise just goes on then the sound slowly goes down.

 

try to tap the starter (lightly) wit a hammer

 

just with a hammer? the rattleing noise comes from behind the clutter guages thing. on the left side. so really just tap it lightly?

 

yeah that was my next suggestion tap the starter

 

haha ok i don't really know about cars haha so wheres the starter? lol

 

its like right under the intake manifold to the left. right above the tranny
