Default camshaft for non-vtech d16y7

Im looking for a racing camshaft for my friends d16y7 engine, it has NPR 11.75:1 compresion pistons.

ive been looking in ebay only find crower for vtec engines, witch one you guys recomend and where can i find them

none cuz N/a d16 arent going to get you anywhere. Boost is better!

sorry but we have a thing here in Puerto Rico
we get things done that arent supposed to get done

Boost the damn thing...you will be much happier.

if you say so. if you can get a 12sec N/A d16 more power to you man. im also trying to built a y7 boost and try for 12s min.

yeah i know boost is the answer i have a 409whp stock block 4g63 mitsubishi, its just my friend who wants to build his non-vtec y7 at least to run against sohc vtec cars. he dosent wants to run 12's

I'm curious about this too, I got a Y7, but I don't want to do a mini-me Y7/Y8 considering the amount of Y8 camshafts out there also SOHC Vtec camshafts... no y7's T.T

I second this search.


boost is great and all, but it's a matter of preference.

ooooook buddy.. goodluck with it then.. why waste money on trying to go n/a on a piece of **** motor? take everyone's advice and go boost..
here in the states, we do it the right way

ya? If y7 don't make power why are they twice the price of y8? And I can't find a damn y7 head for less than $600. I'm just sayin - something going on there cause there all over the damn roads.
