and z6 if N/A?

that means absolutely nothing, and makes no sense what-so-ever
you want whatever has the shortest gears no matter what setup

S20= 92-95
S40= 96-00

near the tranny fill plug.........
A000 = small bearing case = CX/DX/HX/VX case, BAD!
B000 = large bearing case = EX/Si case, GOOD!

D16y8 trans = K4F/P4A/B000, shortest gears

And the difference between the S20 and S40, is the S40 has steel shiftforks whereas the S20 are aluminum
