well im pretty sure its the iacv.. the car started fine and idles fine... but, My car doesnt seem to hold the idle once its rev'd coming from cold start. So i pulled the iacv cleaned it out and now it wont hold any idle at all. should i replace the iacv
which ones are interchangeable???

no help for a noob a researched on symptoms of a bad iacv but im not sure it fits my problem. voltage read about 10v...

 

alright swapped out iacv car runs fine.... but still has trouble holding idel at cold start???

 

IACs for pretty much all D series that use the standard manifold ( excluding D16 Y7 and Automatic JDM D15B's) use a standard two-bolt design. Im currently using a d15b7's on my Z6 manifold, which is on my JDM D15b.
