stock.
the throw isnt that long and youll damage your syncros if you dont know what your doing.
i look at it this way, i have a lightweight flywheel and im using my stock shifter, i beat the rev drop so whats the point of shifting faster? there isnt one. just get some good stiff polyurethane bushings and be on the way.

exactly!! there's no sense in shifting faster than your tranny can keep up....that's just bad news bears!

Just upgrade the bushings. No need to take a chance in damaging the tranny.

I dont know much about short throws but everyone that I know who buys the $40 ones end up breaking them. They just suck. Ive never seen a broke B&M.

it doesnt.....most reputable company's make sure that the pivot of the shift is not affected and that the throw is shortened but the tolerances on the synchros are the same....unless the co. that makes the 40$ shifter isnt designing them properly.....ever see a porsche or the like (real fast cars) with a long throw.....NO it's more of a convenience thing, ever drove a chevy dually with a stick....i think its only 4 speed but the throw is about a foot long!!!!

I agree with Kamin to stay stock but if you must, any short shifter will work, they all do the same.

i had a c's crx shifter as well as a DC shortshifter. know what i have now??

STOCK.

i run a b16 EF w/ hasport mounts and linkage..the shifter feel is a little quirky, and a shortshifter just amplified the problems. back to stock for me..if you want a DC shifter IM me.
