Default Cant Strip WHeels!!!

I can't get the damn paint off my rims. Already tried Aircraft Remover and Auto Strip and it just made it all rubbery and only some came off. Sanding would take forever and would need a ton of sand paper...Any other ideas?

How long did you leave the aircraft remover on?

10 or so minutes and it was around 80º out. the rims were new when i painted over them the first time and came out perfect but i wanted to repaint them another color. when i started to paint over the old paint it started reacting weird so i stripped them. it only took off what i painted over it, but not the orginal.

when i stripped my last set i used the paint remover that you have to brush on and i left it on over night. if the weather is not so warm then that may play a factor in it as well.

Maybe its not paint, they may be powdercoated. If they are, you will have to beadblast it off.
