dohc zc turbo
car idles a lil high when cold then once wamed up idle drops to about 700 then surges up to 1500rpm, then constantly goes back in forth.please help

 

1. Throttle body. Check the gaskget on the throttle body to make sure its not deterriating or if its just worn out. sometimes it could just be the throttle body itself.
2. Vaccuum leak. Check your hose for pinch or leaks.
3. TPS sensor or map sensor.

It happen to my buddy's Integra it would do the same thing at cold then when its warm up it would rev up and down, up and down all day. Until he changed out his throttle body it went away. It can be many things.

bump have had this problem forever and throtlle body has been changed

 

so was that the problem? throtle body? my car didt have te idle prob till i put my turbo on

 

in my case the throttle body didnt fix it, seems there's a vacuum leak somewhere from what people are saying. might wanna check that then
