can i use a rz0068 main relay on my 89 crx dx when it came with a rz0063.

 

unless someone wants to swap for a crx one. i dont know what rz0068 goes to but if you need one i have 2

 

does anyone know?

 

Just search on car-part.com for one that is correct.

 

i tried to interchange them and it didnt work for me. you gotta use the same part number as far as i know.

do you know if the main relay would stop a starter from cranking, fuel pump from priming, and the right turnsignal light on the dash to illuminate

 

sounds exactly like a main relay, i got one from advance for like $55

 

Make sure you shop around. Don't bother buying used unless it is for a quick fix on a budget.

 

yeah man, the only thing that sucks about used is this... its used... you dont know if it works or not, best to get it ner

If you want to go used I have one I will sell you that came out of my Dx.

 

i just orderd the main relay, but i really dont think thats the problem. when i click my brights when my keys are out of the ignition theres a click coming from the seatbelt thing in the door pannel, the check engine light oil light right turn signal and battery light come on. i think i have a short somewhere

 

and this is all with the main relay dissconnected

 

anyone know?

 

bad ground?

 

thats what i was thinking but what ground in some circuit would do this ****?
