vss problem

Default vss problem

i put the electronical vss in my car since im running the gsr cluster i wired it up and everything but the speedometer still doesnt work the funny thing is that the odometer still counts (i think thats wat its called)so just wondering if n e body knew wat was up

omg mine does that, my odometer turns but my needle just fluctuates, im guessing the speedo is bad or a loose bolt behind the speedometer.

yea mine was fluctuating but now it dont the odometer just counts...so does n e one know wats up with that..probably a bad ground or wat cuz i just have the ground wire on the vss grounded on the tranny is that good or no???

Sounds like the speedo is shot. If the odometer is moving then the correct signal is getting to the unit but the servo/motor on the speedometer has gone bad.

I have had this problem for time the ecu is giving error code of 17 which is the VSS i replaced this ive got honda crx sir jdm japanese import not sure what to do ive reset the ecu whilst driving it bring up the code after an hour speedo kicks in everything works fine if i restart the car this is really starting to **** me off and now my blower motor has just died was wit this *****. can any one help?????
