i knocked old ones back till they hit dust shield and they stilll arent out th full way like one inch more and old ones out but i cant get dust shield off does whole hub slide off?

you have to remove the whole hub and get them pressed in

or you can expletive up your **** and hammer them

I remember someone doing a write up where you cut the studs a little, but I would never ever do that. Remove the hub

to install the studs take 2 thick washers and the lugs and impact them till they are in no need for a press

it doesnt strip them mine went in with no problems. anyway its just another way to do it if you dont have a press.

good info </TD></TR></TABLE>This won't strip the studs at all. I see the old mechanics at my work do this all the time. I think it works better with an open ended lug nut as I stated above. It just pulls the stud right in.

dam just go buy a slide hammer pull the hub go buy a press for a hundreded bucks and press you lug nuts in or if your cheap just barrow a slide hammer pull the hub and hammer them in but you need to prop the hub up a lil so you dont expletive the end of you new lugs up and mushroom the ends
