ok here is the deal.....
i have a b18c1 civic i just had a fuel kill switch and a push to start relay installed and i was going to eat upon returning to my car it would not start....hmmm.ok well i call the guy that did my switches and they are hooked up rite.. so we just to be safe un do al the wireng and return it to stock...still nothing so we check the fuses as well all good, still no go.. we check the fuel vaccume line we are receving fuel when we try to turn it over. finally we check the distributer and there is no spark comming from it. so i get a new distributer wow now we have spark but still wont start. WTF...i have had 3 people scratching there heads on this one we cant for the life of us figure it out...

 

Have you checked the starter? I would recommend checking that. First make sure you are getting power to it. (Which you are if you're getting it to crank but not turn.) Try tapping it with a hammer or something while you're cranking the car. If that doesn't work try jumping you're power and ground bolts while the key is in the on position. Also try jumping the positive power bolt to the thin wire. If none of those work, I would say you're starter is bad. But thats just me. Correct me if i'm wrong.

 

nope thats not it its trying to turn over i place the key in the on pos and its trying to turn but it just not quite making it . come to find out it may have the timing off the car was not top dead center when it was put on.think thats it???

 

yea that could be it. but i don't know much about timing, haven't had to deal with that yet, so don't take my word on it.
