My cars running too rich. So rich to the point that I try and start it up and it smells like gas. I then remove the fuse from the fuel pump and it starts for maybe 2 seconds then dies. I want all the troubleshoots on what would make the car run severely rich like this. Thanks

 

first off pop the hood have someone else start the car see if your injectors are squirting under the hood thats possible happened to me smelled bad a lot of fuel wasnt sure what was goin on until i popped the hood needless to say the rubber ring gasket on the injestor was torn so check that first

 

Will do. I am not able to work on the car tonite now because I am about to go out. But I am working on it first thing in the morning. So if everyone can provide some input I would greatly appreciate all the help

 

Replace your O2 and Map sensor
