My axle BROKE (driver side) Im trying to get it out! WON"T BUDGE FOR SHIT!!!

Default My axle BROKE (driver side) Im trying to get it out! WON"T BUDGE FOR ****!!!

I used a CROW BAR and it still won't come out....I even took a hammer to it and it just won't come off!!!! i need to take out my TRANS and this is ERKING ME!!!!!!!

Any ideas!!!??


Help would be surely appreciated.....

try prying it apart from the intermidate shaft, same thing happened to me my bearings broke and i had to remove i ended up with a pry bar and gently working it in between seemed to work well

well the whole axle is GONE the only thing that is left is that piece that connects to the half shaft...that **** will not BUDGE!!!

You should be able to use a pry bar and pry the end, out of the transmission. It might be wedged in pretty tight, but their isn't anything that actually holds it in, except the whole shaft and wheel hub, when it's all installed.

there is a possibility that the alxe spun inside the hub and it fucked up all the grooves inside the hub and you will need a heavy duty press to remove the axle if that happen you will never get it out without a press.
