jdm b18c swap need help
i have a obd 2 gsr, the motor blew up and i just got a obd2 jdm b18c and have the problem of the knock sensor located on the oil pump. the usdm motor has a sensor on the oil pump where as the jdm doesnt! the place where i ordered the motor from said to replace the oil pump and use the old usdm wiring harness. IS THIS CORRECT and if so then he also said that i will have to find the knock sensor on the jdm distributer and eliminate that pin out. since the jdm distributer has 9 pin outs inclucing the knock sensor can i just hook up the usdm wiring harness since it has only 8 pin outs and will that eliminate my knock sensor problem. thanks for any info i really need it. if any other suggestions to fix this problem please let me know
