Crank Position Sensor, Crank Fluctuator Sensor
Does anyone know if any of those sensor are in the B16 oil pump. Different people call it different things but i heard it is the samething.
It's not in the oil pump, it's a magnetic pickup behind the crank pulley and the metal sprocket it picks it's reading from is on the front of the timing belt sprocket.
it's actually bolted to the oil pump there guy
from what i understand, the CKF sensor will send the same signal as the CKP sensor and then it looks for a difference between them or something like that.

Where is it on the Oil pan i want to check to see if there is one. Far as the Dis is concern how could i check that. The car has an OBD2A setup so would it automaticly throw a CEL.
Oil PUMP...not pan. Look at your oil pump - do you see a sensor with some wires hanging off of it? If yes, that's the CKF because there's never been another sensor mounted on the oil pump.

are you replacing yours or whats the problem? Its a bitch to get to if you dont have air tools.. the oil pump is behind the crank pulley and lower timing belt cover which is hell to get off if you dont have the right tools...
