Default master cylinder resavoir

ok so i was checking my oil and i noticed burnt fluids (picture soon) or brown stuff on my hood. its from the MC all the way down to my radiator. so curious i opened my master cylinder resavoir and it had a vacum sound to it. and my fluids levels are okay and im just wondering what fluids can sprayed out onto my hood. the inside of it that is. just 2 things im worried about: did i let air into my brake system and wtf is that on my hood.

thanks for the help HT

That may not be brake fluid, as brake fluid would eat the paint.

Maybe check the power steering hoses and pump area.

Start the engine and get it up operating temperature. Do different things like revving the engine, turning the steering wheel from side to side, etc. to see if any fluids starting coming out. (To me, based on the spray pattern, it looks like the it came out near power steering pump area and flowed backed a little.)

I'm very curious to what caused it. Let us know.

Power steering pump. Probably making a bit of a squealing noise too. I have a spare if you need one.

And no, you did not add air into your brake system by opening your resevoir.

That's normal on all DD integras.....its called your drive belts are catching some dirty rain water and spray all over that general area of the hood!!
