i have H22a in CB7(accord), it bolt right in so had no problems doing it
and my friend also did it in eg 2dr
he told me that, except for bit of cuttin/weldin,
it's not that hard since they have H-mount n Axles for civics nowdays
r u gonna use H tranny or B tranny(w/H-B convertion)..?
short ratio B-tranny will def. utilize HP n TQ from H....
n i heard it more funn too..
anyways
i was told that P/S and A/C won't be working(maybe there is way to get by)
can not lower your car too much BC engine is much taller, some case, engine will hit the hood...
BC of that F/R WEight ratio, u need to have stiffer suspension on front...
but i gotta tell u.. if u do it rightway... u gonna have lots of funn
MaaaD torque pumpin h22a in civic w/ IHE will kill most of cars on street...

i have a h22 in my del sol and im using the hasport mounts and i dont have too much clearance issues the hood is a very snug fit but it still shuts completely and u have to cut the tranny mounts bracket from the frame if u are going to use the h22's tranny.

Depends on what mount kit you use.
For HCP you need to trim the passenger side mount bracket and drill the inner hole bigger, like here:

This is to clear the shifter cable attachment points.
For the Hasport kit you need to cut (or drill out the spot welds) of that mount bracket and drill holes to put on the new one. Here's Hasport's instructions: http://www.hasport.com/tech/installs/EGH2.pdf
No clue what any other kit needs you to do, I'd assume they will come with instructions.
