BOTI orlando, class winners...
who won this event in all classes. i know the track sucked like always but did anyone even run good. i heard there were a few cars that shouldve been in the 9's with a better track prep...
the CFT hotrod car was not in attendance. They did bring out the sfwd red hatch. I think its best run was a 10.3. Mark from MazworX was also there, I belive his fastest pass of the day was a 9.4.
The track was absolutly horrible!!! I had some of my scariest runs to date there this Sunday.. Anways.. Mark from Mazzworx took the win in the Street Tuner Class.. I didnt know who any of the other cars were that won the other classes.. It really was just a battle of who could get their car down the track.. I had to race Mark in round 1 and we were just both fighting to keep from losing control of our cars, he only trapped 103mph and i trapped 98mph... We just couldnt stay in the throttle. It was completely unsafe.
wow.... im so glad i was at the library all day now... knowing that people didnt even run because they didnt think it was safe is sad for bithlo.. i hope they get a new track manager like moroso did. sorry to hear it was that much of a disappointment tho.

once again, crazy event. BLAH on track prep. first run of the morning was the best one. You would think that just after a rain storm and with not much heat on the track that it would stink. But i will say the track was decent then (we were the 18th pair to run on the track). I had terrible wheel hop all the way till 3rd.Cut a 1.901 60' on the Radials. Next run hours later, i lowered tire pressure and we spun our *** off and got a 2.111 60'
I dont hold OSW totally responsible, because i'm sure track prep has to be negotiated in the contract, but the track needed some sort of prep. Also, between the rain, wrecks, fire, and other crap, a lot of circumstances of the day were out of everyone's control.
Tony from EFI2nr won the Street performance Class
i took street stock running the radials and full exhaust. (then drove around the town looking for some food.)
Didnt see the rest of the classes.

i said this in another topic but i will say it again, osw was using strip grip not vht trac bite
ive heard this kind of thing happens at all strip grip tracks from many people mostly pro mod drivers and crew chiefs
ps i was in the slow white d series crx that won the bracket class

hell even when they use vht on tracks they will coat the track numerouse times throguh the event to keep it hooking. & most of all SAFE, a-holes
lazy *** orlando. even if it was talked about between boti & the track their is no reason why a track shouldent be prept properly.

I would like to thank those that have help us make these first two wins of the 07 season possible. First I have to thank Larry from Endyn for the beautiful work he did on my head and putting up with all my phone calls, John from Hytech for all his help with the cams, Torco oils for hooking us up with the best oil we have ever used, Sean from ERL for the bad *** machine work, Brian from Hasport for the best mounts on the market, and my right hand man Ryan for always having my back!!!
to all you guys. Hopefully we can win a few more this year for you guys.

They probably arent mixing the traction compound right. My Dads company is a Vp dealer and we supply vp traction compound to some tracks in Colorado and alot of tracks dont mix the compound and the activator right..
