traction issues any help???
ok i have a ek hatch puttin down 264whp and 229tq. i am currently running bfg drag radials (205/50/15) which i believe are about 23 in tall. i run about 35 psi in them, but i am getting no traction at all in 1st or 2nd. i dont have much wheel hop so i am wondering if traction bars would be much of a help, and also, whats a decent tire pressure to drop to? i mean if you go to low with pressure youre only gonna be running on the sides anyways the center will belly upwards and not contact the road. anyone with any help??? the car is also a daily driver so i can run full slicks.. any help would be appreciated!!
my tire is a Little bigger i think their 225/50/15 i was running 8psi to 10psi had not one problem any thing higher than that i wound do nothing but spin if yours are like my the side wall well recoil

around 10 psi.
At 35 psi those tires are going to give you a very small contact patch. </TD></TR></TABLE>

ya your tires are will not get any traction about 20psi i would try 12psi and work your way down from there.
traction bar does help, but work on getting a consistant 60'ft. before buying one.
