questions about boosting an LS engine
i am new on this forum and am trying to get some info. i have a civic coupe with an 97' ls swap. i am planing on boosting my engine and i am puting my own turbo system together. i am geting a tial wastegate and a .25 bar spring(3.6 psi+-) and a 2 stage boost controler to set it the minimum for every day driving and 10 psi for racing. i have a few questions
1-will A 38 mm waste gate be good enough
2-what size injectors should i use(i was thinkin 440cc)
3-i have and internal waste gate and dont want is how do i seal that. (weld it shut?)
4-will a cast manifold off ebay with the wastegate flange on only 1 or 2 of the runners affect the preformace in my application.
5-is it nessicery for me to do anything to my computer when i do all this or can i leave it the same, i have an obd 1 computer out of 95 LS with a obd 2 engine.
6-any other usefull infomation about my car or engine that yall are willing to share would be aprectiated

1. yes
2. injector size depends on power being made
3. weld it shut
4. ebay manifold's suck wastegate placement above one runner leads to boost spikes
5. you need to have the ecu socketed chipped and tuned
