heres an odd question, maybe someone could help me out with. My power door locks are messed up. The Acura has a feature which doesn't let you lock your keys in the car. If the key is in the ignition, and you lock it it doesn't let you. Well mine is backwards for some reason, it lets me lock it fine, and won't let me unlock it. Has anyone encountered this before and if so how did you fix it, any advice would help me out a lot.

That's strange.....take it back!

You still have a warranty on it? If so, definitely take it back to get it fixed.

 

Mines lock with the key in the ignition and unlocks. I didnt know Integras had this safety feature, maybe the newer tegs?

 

What year?? On my 98 you can't lock the drivers door if it's open (unless you hold the handle out.) If the doors are closed I can lock and unlock to my heart's content, regardless of where the keys are.

 

my 94 LS does something like that...its weird. Opening and closing the door fixes it usually.
