so i went turbo with my D-17. i'm having problems with my e-manage. i'm getting no interaction between the unit and my laptop. any1 here used a e-manage? any thoughts, ideas, points...

 

im using e-manage but all the tuning was done by someone else...i rather not mess with it cuz i dont wanna risk anything

 

yea... do you know where they placed the e-manage?? and do you know the first three setting? that would be crucial to me... thanks

 

what i mean by the first three settings is once you take off the cover that has all the dials on it, there are three hidden dials.... if you could tell me what they are set at, it would help me out a lot

 

take off which cover?..all tuning was done with a computer...and the support tool

 

maybe thats why it didnt have any interaction with your laptop...you need the greddy e-manage support tool

 

i have the suppost tool...the problem is when i have the emanage connected to my laptop, before you can even change anything you have to go to communications and do a "main unit update"... this is where the problem starts. everytime i try to do an update it fails. if you look at the side of the unit where u plug in the USB cable there is four small allen screws. also the same side has the 5 air flow adjust *****. if you take that off with a small allen wrench, to the left there are three hidden *****. i would need to find out what they are set at... thanks
