I am pretty sure I am getting the code 14 which is the Idle Air Control Valve code .......
I have a STD that I have done the Si MPFI conversion that I did back in November of last year. Was working OK, with some intermittent sputtering while driving (mainly under acceleration after staying at one rpm range for awhile). It will drive fine, then sputter, and throw a CEL, and not rev anymore without sputtering and wanting to stall.
Need to figure out what I need to do to fix it, because it is happening more frequently, and I don't feel like getting stranded anywhere ....

Uhhhhhhhh, you guys are thinking of the EACV (Electronic air control valve). The IACV is on the back side of the manifold, has a couple inches of wire then a plug. I think the wire colors are blue/yellow and black. It is the only plug on the intake manifold that has wire already attached to the manifold side.
See: http://66.24.150.222:7080/manual/2gsm/images/91-9-3.jpg
What you guys are refering to is the EACV.
Later,
Derek

OK, first, what you are thinking of is the fast idle control valve, easy to get confused .......
Second, code 14 IS the EACV (got home, checked the manual) ........
Third, took it off, looked ok but a little dirty, so I cleaned it like Dom said .......
Now, the car starts, won't idle at all ....... I have to keep the gas on it to keep it going. I'm going to check it again later, but I think the EACV is now fuxored ........
EACV from Honda is $165 .....
...... I also now know that on the EF, it does not blink slow/pause/blink faster. I did the trouble shooting for the EACV, and the code it gave me was 14 STRAIGHT BLINKS!! So what I got before was one blink, a pause, and then four blinks.
Low and behold ........... one blink is the O2 sensor, and four blinks is the Crank Angle Sensor (on the distributor). So AFTER I get the car to stay running again (by probably having to get an EACV), I am back to square one and will have to see if the other stuff still goes on .......
Luckily, one of the problems that the EACV causes is misfiring and stalling, so it still might be the culprit anyways after all is said and done.
So, I have to drive my wife to work tomorrow, and see if I can find an EACV somewhere ...............

It will?? Doesn't look like it will ........ I'll check it out when I get home today. Thanks.
I cheated: since the car stalls out but runs okay as long as I push in the gas, I tightened the throttle cable up so it stays at about 1,000 rpms .......
