Ok the CEL turned on and it was code P0700(Trans Control System Malfunction)0 & P0758(Shift Solenoid B Circuit Electrical). I tested the Shift control solenoid B. I measured the VREF Voltage and it was in spec, I checked if it had short to power abd it didn't, I measured the resistance and it was within spec. I also took it out and checked if it clicked when power was applied but it didn't click and I also took out valve C to check if it did the same thing and it also didn't click, but it didn't throw a code for C, only B. This is a 98' with only 60,000 miles and no racing.

Is it possible that the TCM is faulty?
Any suggestions?

I wish I could help, but unless someone has a 5th gen Helms manual it's going to be hard to answer such a detailed question.

Do you have a Helms?
