Default Auto to manual IM question

I was in he middle of a A/M swap, and kind of stopped because I wanted to concentrate on my Del Sol. The swap was in a '98 EK. I have everything needed besides the IM. My question is, can I just used a 2 wire IACV from anothet motor instead of swapping the intake manifold?

Thanks in adance

Yes, but you will have to drill the holes for the iacv in the manifold. I've done it quite a few times.

Auto has a 3 wire IAC thats on the TB. Your going to want to replace the throttle body and rewire the IAC.

okay, so it would be easier to just replace the IM. I was just looking for the easier way out, but it doesn't looks like it will be any easier.

There's no iacv valve there. You would have to get a manual iacv valve, drill the holes and bolt it up. You can keep your old TB but just block the old auto iacv holes. I removed the old auto iacv and used a plate to block it off. Its not that hard and will save you money.
