Default Wastegate dump with a catch tray ??

How are you guys running your wastegate dumps with catch trays ?
out the side? the back ? or just dumping gasses down onto the catch tray/pan ?

Car is at fab. Manifold and the wastegate's placement is done. Next thing to tackle is catch tray..and then i thought of this.

Thanks

wouldn't that defeat the purpose of keeping the oil off the track in case of failure. anybody else have theirs going thru the catch pan?

ehh... I'm trying to keep it a clean and simple setup. I dont think i wana route 2 dump tubes around IC piping, to the side of the bumper.

You can use a piece of alum. tube. And either weld it or cut slits in it, bend them, rivet and glue them. That will give you a 2" lip around your hole.

Yeah, you can go through the pan, as long as there is a lip around the hole. C'mon guys, get creative.
