i recently swapped a jdm b16 into my 93 civic coupe. i can start the car but as soon as it starts, it will run for about 10 seconds then dies off. i got a code 14 off the car its the iacv. im also having to use my throttle body off my z6 because the b16 doesnt have a map sensor on it. have any ideas?

 

im gonna go with clean the iacv then put ur b16 throttle body back on and go buy a map sensor.

 

is the iac pin location the same on the b16 ecu???

 

i have a 93 ex with the p28 and im also using the same wiriin harness.

 

maybe try to lightlly tap on the motor side of the iac to free the pintle, some of the iacs hace a screen and sometimes it needs to have the carbon removed from it

 

i tapped on the iacv and it changes it. and i just noticed today that on my headers the #4 exhaust pipe isnt hot at all and the others are and im pretty sure thats a misfire i just cant believe that i missed that

 

so now that iacv code is on and i possilbly have a misfire on #4. anyone have any ideas?
