but as you can see the stock Y8 TB has a map sensor on top and the B16 doesnt have one at all and it has 3 extra vacuum lines??
where do they go and can I use the map sensor off my dx manifold?

Re: (Civic Racer X 7)
are you sure that's a b16 throttle body? I have never seen a b16 tb like that...it looks more like the one off my d15b7 that uses a firewall mounted map sensor and has a line running I think to the smaller nipple on the top of the throttle body.

its just prolly for a OBD0 motor since the MAP sensor is not located on the top of the TB like the obd1-2 are. Just get a map sensor for a 88-91 civic/crx and mount it on the firewall. Run the vac line to one of the ports on the TB and then you have used up an extra vac. line and you are runing a map sensor like you should.

yeah looks like its for an obd0 motor. You need to mount the MAP ont he firewall like stated above. Also, that bottom pic, the last thing u highlighted is the FITV... DO NOT RUN VACUUM LINES TO IT.
It runs off coolant! You can bypass it if you want, just dont run vacuum to it...

Re: (boosted_elf)
That looks just like the H23 tb i have sitting in my garage...The smaller vaccum port you have circled is for the map sensor....they are mounted on the firewall in preludes...the larger one i dont remember what that is for.
