Default Looking at em1 and need some advice.

She is a 99 ex with 92,000. Everything seems to check out being that my Mom knows the owner. I only have one concern, the owner mentioned because of a fender bender in the Target parking lot the top of the trunk on the right side is not flush maybe 3-5mm gap(no leaks). The left side feels fine. Does this information seem to sound/read accurately? I eventually want to take her to the track and do some autox would this potentially create any problems?

Don't think I left anything out...? What does everyone think?

A 99 ex is not an EM1. Might want to take a look at that VIN

I hope your not paying the price for an "em1" being that it is an EX. IF it's just a minor fender bender.. get a quote from a body shop seeing how much it would be to repair it and adjust the asking price from there

I seriously doubt the fender bender in the target parking lot will affect your autox performance. Make sure it is a good price for an EX like TicToc said and then throw on a good suspension, then go autox

lots of things, search for all of them but here are some:
interior(cluster, climate control is amber, floor mats, seats, shifter boot)
exterior(front lip, optional rear lip, grill, si badge on trunk, wheels, rear disc)
suspension(swaybar maybe not really sure, strut bar)

im sure there is more but search and im sure there is a list of them all

This is a chart I made of the differences between the '99-'00 DX coupe, '99-'00 EX coupe and '99-'00 Si coupe.

The Si only comes in coupe, the EX in coupe and sedan and the DX in coupe, hatch and sedan.

Just tell me of any corrections or additions that might be needed.

* Different Front LCA (EX and Si have mounting points for front sway bar) (***But, the EPC says the Si is different, ex and dx are the same).
* Different Front Strut Fork (to accomidate front sway bar on EX and Si).
* Crossmember (Si is different, EX and DX are the same).
* All springs are different (DX = ?; EX = 165F/80R; Si =201F/100R).
* All shock absorbers are different.
* Si driver's seat has an extra adjustment ****.
* Seat Fabric Pattern (Classy). All trims are different.
* Seat Fabric Pattern (Excel). All trims are different (not available on Si).</TD></TR></TABLE>
