b20 swap into ls 4dr
i'm going to be helping a buddy of mine put a b20 into his LS 4dr. i'm not sure what model b20 it is but i want to know if anyone has some good input about this swap. i know i need to swap the intake manifold but what else???
i'm pretty sure your also going to need the ls crank pulley, i'm not sure but i've been researching because i'm about to do this swap next week and thats what i've heard

if your asking why would you change the crank pulley its because of its size. the b20 has a much larger alternator loop. which creates too much electricity in higher rpms that can possibly damage your alternator or other things.
because of the size of the b20 crank pulley a lot of people with superchargers will switch to the b20 crank pulley cause it will create more psi.
I own two tegs both with b20s. one turbo, one stock.
switching the crank pulley isnt mandatory. but if you dont switch it your going to have to find a belt that will properly fit the b20 crank pulley and the integra alternator/PS/AC. i found it from a ford car but im not sure which one cause ive switched my pulley back to the LS one when i did my timming belt.
U have to switch the intake manifold and everything attached to it. the distributor and thats it. some b20 blocks have a different drivers side top mount... so you might have to switch the mount from your ls block to the b20 block...
I usually dont give out freebies like this cause i get mad that all this information is already out on honda tech and team integra so it makes me mad that people keep asking this same question over and over....
but a lot of people are talking on this thread so i thought i would say what im saying before lots of bad information starts rolling in.

^^^I think he covered pretty much everything very well. I think you will need to use the timing belt side mount bracket from the block, not completely sure though. Everyones saying complete IM, but just to make sure that includes the fuel rail and everything there also. Another little thing is that you will be switching the PCV system setup from the breather box on the block to the one in the valve cover, so you'll probably need to get a little bit of hose and a PCV valve for a 98+ Integra or 99-00 CR-V. I think you'll probably have the extra crank pulley sensor and knock sensor on the B20 block that you won't be using.
