first off, i searched everything i could think of that would lead me to a thread about this (oil capacity, oil change, oil amount,) and i'm having trouble finding a definite spec on how much oil a stock 99 gsr will hold. i've found 2.5 qts, 4 qts (which i believe i've heard before from a guy at the shop i go to, which sounds right to me) and other figures. so i have a couple questions:
1. is there a technical site something along the lines of what i could find in mitchells that will tell me this and other technical information about my integra
2. how much oil should i buy to change my oil tomorrow at my ase class.
thanks to all for the help
Ben

Do you not have an owners' manual?
I believe the manual states 4.2 quarts with a filter change, but in my experience, 4 quarts exactly will put the oil just a hair above the 2nd dot on the dipstick, which is perfect.

What happened to checking the dipstick as you fill it?
Even though you got the answer which is right,
You could of just bought 5quarts, check the dipstick after 4,
and then pour the last quart to the needed amount.

Nicely stated, that is what I did when I did not know and now I know.
