looks good pretty good price, you can get injectors and other stuff and still be under the price of a drag kit or greddy kit...good find

look up xs turbos and ssautochrome. its all the same ebay crap that breaks. treadstone, stone racing, xs, and ssautochrome are all the same cheap products. the only plus here is that kit comes with 2 turbonetics components. all of the other parts are treadstone garbage. look on ebay and you will find treadstone parts. i would save up a little more and get a brand name that you know will last and put up good numbers.

that's y this kit seems pretty nice to me comparing to other ebay crap, cause this one has turbonetics parts that actually break in cheap kits..i dont care what kind of brand are the piping and cooler cause it just a piece of metal there is no moving parts in them. they also offer turbonetics or hks bov

i think i will get one of those this summer with some rc injectors on top

Hmmm

Log manifold that wont crack ... check
Great turbo and Wastegate ... check
Good piping clamps and couplers ... check
Great price ... check

Seems to me you have no idea wtf your talking about , want to tell me what parts in this kit would fail ? What makes you think this is just another SSAC garbage kit ? Because i can assure you right now it is not at all .

OP this looks like a great kit , purchase it install it and write a review for the rest of us on HT to read

yea...please dont slam ebay turbo kits unless you have done some research...just because its cheap and you heard rumors or seen 1 or 2 incidents doesnt mean that they are crap...only thing i guess you could complain about it the turbo itself but now they have garret internals...and if it still goes bad a turbo is cheaper than a whole kit and you can easily replace for cheaper than going all name brand...

CHINA SPECIAL BABY!!!

Wow.. Maybe after you have the SSauto turbo rebuilt, then it might be good.

They might last, and they might not, it won't be very long either way,
even if they have better internals, they still aren't the same as something namebrand.

did you guys even look at the kit. if so and you still come with that bullshit you are retarded. it is NOT the same as xspower and ssautochrome. it has a turbonetics turbo and wastegate, these are the most important components in the kit. the log manifold looks good but i recommend upgrading the BOV to a name brand. an intercooler is an intercooler, not much differentiation between them, they all do the job if they don't fall apart and this one prolly won't. smart upgrade will be the downpipe to at least 2.5"

Wastegate placement on that manifold is ****. Only 1 runner.....so dont be surprised when your boost starts to spike and possibly cause detonation. Shitty manifolds like that is what blew my motor the first time I went turbo. It looks almost identical to the drag manifold.

If you want a good log manifold, try inlinepro, or do the right way with full-race

well you can sit here and read what people think (cause these are obviously all opinions), or you can try and find someone who actually has this kit. the turbo and wastegate and brand names with a good reputation and proven results. what about the manifold? the intercooler? lets see what people with treadstone brand products have to say, since they are the only ones who would know for sure. personally i would save up and piece together a good kit with proven power gains and reliability.

I can vouch for their intercoolers , my roommate has one on his turbo S10 . Real nice welds and strong fins , definitly not garbage at all . I have not seen their piping in person , but it looks like their manifold is modeled after the drag manifold . which is a great starter manifold but I do believe people have had problems with them once they started running higher amounts of boost . Dont quote me on that though I remember reading it in a thread in the forced induction section , Ill try and find the link

That kit is ****. I was actually going to buy the same kit a while back, but then I did some research on it. That is not a turbonetics turbo, it is a piece of **** with a turbonetics housing on it. Remember when it comes to turbo charging your car you really do get what you pay for. My advice would be to save up your money and piece together a nice kit with quality parts (i.e. garret, full-race, percision, tial, ect....). good luck man.

Dude its a great price. The manifold will be fine. The piping will be fine. Wastegate/ BOV will be fine. The turbo is the only thing i would be skeptical about. I would use that kit, but run a more tried and true turbo just to be safe.

Do it, post up pics, dyno, and be satisfied.

I've just purchased this kit and the components are good quality and not your usual Ebay rubbish.

Treadstone are a Turbonetics dealer so why would they be selling turbo's with the Turbonetics name on that don't have turbonetics internals?

Mine certainly looks like the real deal.

I think if your not planning on running massive boost (why would you on a fwd car) then this kit is fantastic value for money.

This is what I'm having fitted next Thursday so I will post up some dyno figures after I get it back:

Turbonetics T3/T4 Turbo V trim stage 2 .48 51 Lbs/min
Turbonetics Evolution wastegate
Turbonetics Raptor BOV
K & N Air Filter
Treadstone cast manifold
Treadstone TR8 intercooler
Treadstone 2.5" Polished aluminum pipe kit
Treadstone stainless downpipe kit
Treadstone complete oil kit
TRE Performance 255lph Uprated Fuel Pump
Fuel Pressure Regulator
AEM Tru Boost Contoller
Apexi Turbo Timer
Uprated Venom Injectors
Dastek Unichip
Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch
Fidanza Aluminium 8lb Flywheel
