i have searched and cant find a straight answer. my question is if the car is at idle and i unplug the iac(idle air control). should it make it idle diff or stay the same. the reason i ask i think that might be my prob. thanx

 

hey man when you unplug the IAC valve while the car is running it is supposed drop down in idle if it does not then you got your problem in your IAC valve.

 

yeah when i unplug mine nothing happens so problem solved. but no cel. thats kinda weird.

 

the suck thing is, is that the freakin IAC valve is like $200+
