Default connecting a fuel kill to alarm vs. standalone switch

so i'm getting ready to actually put the kill switch in my 97 ek, but i'm not entirely sure what the advantages of going from the alarms armed ground to the fuel pump are over a dedicated switch. if the alarms power is cut will that technically = disarmed? and in turn leave the fuel pump power on?

It depends on the install of the alarm and if the alarm has a back up battery. Or if the relay is wired no or nc. Find the main relay on the left hand side of the car and put a 1 amp switch on the ground of the main relay. Hell relocate the main relay up in the dash so they can not bypass it. Its real easy to do.
