Remote start and fuel kill
Is it possible to use the orange (-) ground when armed output to operate a fuel kill and still be able to remote start the car? The manual says this: With the anti-grind On (default) the ground-when-armed output will be active during
remote start operation. If accessories such as a voice module or window module are added to the unit, it may be
necessary to program this feature off.

If you want to do a fuel pump kill switch, just wire up a hidden toggle switch seperately from the alarm itself. This will simplify things in case your alarm happens to stop working.
Remote start will not work, but it is an easy fix, it requires another relay.

Wire the starter cut relay like normal, but on the black ground lead to the PGM-FI Main Relay... http://www.the12volt.com/relays/page2.asp like that only #30 and #87a is the black ground lead going to PGM-FI Main Relay, now install a relay on the IGN. 12V going to #86, cut the lead and connect one to #30 of the 2nd relay and the other to #87a connect 12V+ constant to #86 and the ground out when running, [status] from the remote start to #85, the "starter cut relay" will work normally if alarm is triggered to shut down the fuel pump and power to the injectors and ECU, however if remote start is used, the status output from the remote start will energize the 2nd relay, opening the IGN. 12V input to the "starter cut relay" allowing the PGM-FI Main Relay to still get it's ground.

No, that will not work, let me try again...
Relay "A"
#85 - 12V+ constant, [hot at all times].
#86 - ground out when running, [status].
#30 - 12V+ true ign., [hot in run and start].
#87a - to #85 of relay "B", [true ign.].
#87 - not used, [my mistake].
Relay "B"
#85 - from #87a of relay "A", [true ign.].
#86 - orange, from alarm, [ground out when armed and remote start]
#30 - one end of cut black ground lead for PGM-FI Main Relay.
#87a - other end of cut black ground lead for PKM-FI Main Relay.
#87 - not used
Sorry can't seem to copy/paste my pix to here.

Okay, thanks for being patient; I still don't fully grasp how relays work, so it's challenging!
When wiring a relay, does 12v always have to be on 85, or could it be on 86 as long as ground is on 85?

Read... http://www.the12volt.com/relays/relays.asp it helps a lot if you understand how a relay works.

The orange wire goes to the starter kill relay. It just interupts the starter wire while the remote starter is on.

It is, and you get starter cut and anti-grind, when you wire the two starter leads, [ign. side and starter side] to the cars starter lead, the built in relay is used for 3 things, starter cut if alarm is triggered, remote start, [starter function], and anti-grind, [if car is running by remote starter and you stick the ign. key in and turn it all the way to start], no ugly grinding sound.
The orange lead is ground out when armed and when running on remote start.
As has been mentioned you can program the anti-grind off, however you also turn it off on the "built in" starter/starter cut relay, in other words you lose anti-grind, no biggie, you will only notice it when you forget the car is running on remote start and you crank the key all the way to start.
Using 2 relays will allow you to have both anti-grind and fuel pump kill.
