REMOVING ENGINE BLOCK
i am doing a rebuild on my motor and i have the head off already cause i thought i was just going to rebuild the head but things changed now i am taking the block out. i dont want to take tranny out and i think i have everything disconnected that needs to be but i cant get the block to come offthe tranny. this is my first time and i am not sure if i am doing something right or wrong
Just take the motor and tranny out together. you are going to have to crack the axles loose anywayz to put your new suspension on. plus its like 7hundred million times easier to just pull the motor and tranny together on a honda than it is to leave the tranny in the car.. BTW what kind of motor and what kind of car??

its a 94 hatch with type-r in it. so pulling the whole thing is better. so all i need to do is take axels out, unbolt shift linkage, and the mounts. is there anything else to unbolt.
