Default removing the head

searched and found nothing..

Question: is there any other way to remove the head without removing the camshaft? i don't want to remove the camshaft coz i don't want to mess-up the settings etc.. i head it's possible but the head is going to be heavy.

ohh if you have the link to how to install/remove b18 head..can you please give me the link..

i dont see hwo it is possible since the head bolts are right under the cams but wat do i no

Actually you cannot pull off the head without removing the cam shafts. Reason as stated below is because the camshafts 'cover' the head bolts...so you have no physical way of removing them without removing the camshafts first.

thanks for the info..so u can remove the head from a sohc but not a dohc then..thanks
