Are there any TODA Spec C2's or D's in stock?

I'd also like to get a belt and inner and outer Toda springs while I'm at it.
Look, its either that or boost with a 0.120 gasket.

.....you might also want some toda Ti retainers too.
I still recommend boost!
*last time I checked, passwordjdm had a set of vtec killers in stock and deeply discounted.....
reid (yes, the moderator himself) also had some good toda cams for sale.....
but if you can't get a deal, check out the skunk pro2's.

Toda
I was thinking about going this route. Password does have a set of killer cams and for a good price too. Those a too aggrisive for a street car if you ask me. Have you tired checking the sponsored market place. Two of our sponsors are offering Toda head packages.

I may test my welding skills.
Hmmm, gas or electric?
BTW -- I noticed some relatively flat top pistons in the motor.

There are a number of cams offered that have more aggressive VTEC Lobes, including the aforementioned Skunk2 Pro2's. The issue with camshafts that operate on a single lobe is a) they require a replacement for the VTEC lost motion assembly which adds to the cost and b) they are finiky to tune, but the same can be said for many of the larger cams offered these days. The benefits of running hollow core single lobe cams like the TODA VTEC Killers are only realized from an endurance standpoint.
Basically, TODA cams are great, don't get me wrong, but there are cheaper, better alternatives that have come out in the last three years. The Skunk2 Pro series cams have the best throttle response and midrange of any cam we've tested, and perform well up top also.
zyg - what compression and displacement?

85 mm bore Benson closed deck with a 97 mm LS crank (~2.0 L).
I've been told the CR is 116-11.8:1.
They'll be checking compression and leakdown after its put together, but D is also suggesting I also have the head cc'd and the head/block checked whle we're at it.
70 mm throttle body, VictorX manifold, SMSP 1.9L header w/exhaust.

you'd be over camming your car big time with the vtec killers..
Try the pro series or stick with something that nature..unless you got 12.1+ cr i wouldn't run those huge cams.

Again, TODA VTEC Killers are not that aggressive, they just lack primaries. Skunk2 Pro2's have more lift/duration than them. The reason you shouldn't run VTEC Killers is that you can get other cams that make more power while costing 1/3 that of the TODA's.
zyg - I would highly suggest Skunk2 Pro2's. I've tested 4 different sets of cams on my motor (85x87.2 - 12:1) and the Pro2's have had the best throttle response and midrange. If you want to revv to the moon, Pro3's or BC5's would be my top two choices. The Pro3's will be equally as beefy in the midrange (nearly the same primaries as the Pro2's) but with the appropriate lift/duration to make power to 9500 or so, where as the Pro2's held peak power from 8400-8800 on my motor.
BTW, its an 89mm LS crank

You know, that looks better!
I knew something was wrong which is why I included the "LS".
Thanks, Skunk2 Pro 2 it is!
