Default Toda spec B's?

Hello everybody, I am getting mixed answers on this question I thought maybe someone could help me out? I ordered Toda spec B's with all the goodies yesterday for my 00 Civic Si and I am wondering if Toda recommends Titainum retainers? Someone said Toda doesn't advise this, is this true? I am getting yes and no answers, thanks for the help, TIM...

some portflow retainers would be nice with that setup.
toda also recommends using the toda timing belt with toda B and C cams

I ordered the timing belt with all the other goodies, Cams, gears, valve springs. The only thing I have heard is that Tit-retainers wear very quickly is this true?

If the spring doesnt seat tighly into the retainer and it can move around that will promote quicker wear.

To help with Ti retainer wearing, you could have them TiN (titanium nitride) coated. This coating increases the harness of the retainers and help them last longer.
