Default Exhaust Manifold Studs?

How hard are the Exhaust Manifold Studs to take out? I rounded off one of the bolts and wanted to see how hard it is to replace the stud as I'll probably have to replace it.

Put a vise grip to it and rotate.

A stout set of vice grips. It will be even easier if the motor is warm.

I replaced all of mine with studs from Honda not to long ago and that was the easiest way I found.

>>>>OLD SCHOOL BUMP<<<<

where can I find these online?

I've noticed on bernardiparts.com that they only sell the nuts for the manifold, and the studs come with the complete head Anyone know other place where they don't charge 1700$ for 9 studs?

just looking to replace studs, as I broke 2, and would like to replace all while at it.

thread one nut onto it. then put a lockwasher on it, followed by another nut.

hold the outer most with a wrench, and turn the innermost counterclockwise, and this will tighten up the lockwasher, and when you hold the outer bolt, it will make the stud come out.

i tried with vise grips, and it didn't work, they kept rounding off.

First off, no need to get all hostile.

Second, do you need the studs that bolt the exhaust manifold to the head or the studs that hold the exhaust manifold to the collector pipe?

Third, have you tried any local junkayrds?

Try here: www.car-part.com

the 9 studs that go into the head.

I'd rather replace all with new studs, than old rusted ones.

http://estore.honda.com/

you can always just go into your local dealer and tell them what you need, not all parts counter workers are douches.
