Default Towing a Honda

Anyone ever use one of those tow bars the motor homes use to tow cars behind them?
I'm going to check out a 94 coupe saturday that will probably need to be towed home. I haven't seen the car yet but if I like it I'm buying it on the spot. If I call a tow truck I'll have to wait and if I go with uhaul it's a hot or miss whether they will have one. This is why I'm leaning towards a tow bar.
Anyway if you have done it or have another option let me know.

When I bought my Si I rented a U-haul auto trailer. The peace of mind of not having to deal with a tow bar or dolly was worth the extra money, I think it cost something like $90 IIRC.

you want to tow a honda with another honda? not the best idea. just get the car towed or rent a uhaul.

Tie a rope to the hook under the bumper tie the other end to a truck hitch than have your friend mom uncle or some random dude sit in it and press the brakes it's real easy you could even tow it with another honda...te he

im not sure bout were you live but in maine if the car isn't registerd all four wheels have to bee off the ground when you move the vehicle

i rented a u haul trail twice just because its the easiest way to move a car and they even have long enough ramps the dropped integra fit without scraping

If I was you I woul just pay the extra money for a tow truck or uhaul trailer. Way less of a risk that way.

I wasn't going to tow it with another honda it will be a truck. I was just asking about using a tow bar. Worst case I will just have to come back to get the car. The car is an hour away and I haven't seen it yet. So I might not even end up getting it if I don't like what I see. Which is why I don't want to rent a uhaul.

if you do decide to get it there is probly a u-haul place near the car and they allow you to do one way hauls.
