Default new suspension squeak

just today i started getting a squeak from my car. its from the front drivers side suspension. its pretty loud, and can easily be heard. sounds like its behind the tire/wheel somewhere.

i get it if i turn the steering wheel either way, and i think i get it under compression of the shocks and definitly under rebound. if i use the brakes to stop, theres a definite squeak when the car is stopped and rocks back a little (rebound of compression from braking). it also seems to go away if my car is rolling more than about 15 mph.

is this the ball joint? or cv axle? any ideas?

and i tried searching this, but on honda-tech i get no results for my searches, even if i search a word that i know ive used in a past post.

I've been having a similar problem since I installed my tein type flexes. Makes a rubber ducky like squeak when the shocks compress/decompress (but only when this happens.. doesn't do it when simply turning the wheel or braking like mark's ludw).

It's been quite a while since I installed them... haven't noticed any difference in performance, and most people I talk to say not to worry about it, but it still bugs me. Anyone have any ideas on how to deal with it?

ok well heres what i found. my shocks have always sqeaked in the cold, goin over bumps but never turning. then i got this problem.... and my car was sqeaking over bumps on both sides (louder on the drivers side) and also sqeaking as mentioned from simply turning the wheel on the drivers side only.

so i bought some spray silicone lube, and soaked everything i could find on the drivers side that might be a source. i reallllly soaked sway bar bushing, and moderately soaked about 5 or 6 other "joints" in the suspension.

it got cold last night, and i drove to work this morning before dawn. i had the usual squeaks from the passengers side, and my drivers side was perfectly silent all day!
i hope this lasts, twas an easy fix.
