alpine to zapco...good deal?

alpine to zapco...good deal?
im thinking about trading a friend my alpine mrd-f250 for a zapco ag650. it will be bridged at 4 ohms to power my cdt audio ef-61fg component set. is this a good idea? i've heard zapco amps before, including this one, and really like how they sound.
