No, the final drives are not interchangable and why would you want to run a 4.06 final drive. The Ls tranny with the 4.266 is already extra long
A GSR tranny with a 4.06 final will result in a longer 1st and 2nd. gear and shorter 3rd-4th and 5th gear than a LS tranny but not that much difference.

my gsr trany works good but LS trany went to hell on one event, our track is better for long 1 and 2 and after that is hang on. no bite after the 1/8. just like to know!!!
a cople of cars here run it and is working good for them, but they think is a the secret of cold fusion!!
a car from new york that was imported had one on it, just like to try to see.
