I searched and searched and I can not find the thread on this. I think there's a DIY to get the amber out of the rear taillights. Its either that or buy a new set that are just red and clear but I dont want to spend the 100 bucks.

Please just help me out.

I think removing the amber from the tail light looks good. I want to do this to a pair of OEM tail lights I have to see how it looks. I'm just going to get an amber light bulb so that you still have that amber color when your blinker is on.

its called destroying the value of the car, sure its his car, but some people just need a kick in the face to realise that the car mommy and daddy bought them could be sold, for profit, or loss. no where did he say installing an amber bulb. And assuming from his mods' he will probably be putting in purple bulbs, i wouldnt be suprised.

And i dont think his car looks like yours, judging from his mods, I dont understand how you would EVER get defensive when SOMEBODY IS TRYING TO SALVAGE A SINKING SHIP!

Wow I wish there was somebody like me 4 years ago, when I took away 1/2 the value of my car, which I have spend WELL over 3x the worth of my car to get it back to stock/clean again. Im sure he will look back at this thread, and he will wished he put his money into something usefull. Plus I hate seeing riced otu accords, its even worse than seeing a riced out neon or cavaler.

again, i dont think your reading me correctly, sure even I removed the amber from my tails, but I replaced them with an amber bulb.

Judging from this kids mods, hes not gonna do that, and I hate ricers, why? because my city is packed with them, infact i havent seen a clean import car for months, its nothing but riced out accords, hatches, neons, chevys, hondas with the huge wings, bondo, lambo doors, altezzas, neons and punk *** kids buzzing around with 5" exhaust pipes.

Now because I have a honda, I get **** for it, because 90% of the cars out on the road are riced out to ****....Now when a smokin hot chick see's that 90% of the hondas out there have altezza's, neons and huge wings (that looks like ****), she gets a bad vibe that all ricers have small *****. This isnt the case with me however, and when I pick up a chick at the bar, and she see's my car, yea its clean, but still deep down inside she has a slight notion that I like to race my car, and listen to techno and race dump trucks.

I do not like to race dump trucks, I drive from work, to home. Thats it. Most people when they see a honda, its too late, they're already being raced by some punk kid with a huge wing, and a fart can, which sounds like a tractor. This starts the huge hatred from domestics, which in fact most of their cars are a hell lot cleaner than most of our imports. Because they focus on engines, not neons and wings/altezzas.

Now the point im getting across is, people make fun of these people, they hate these people. It doesnt matter if its what "he" likes. Maybe reverend johnson likes young boys. Sure its his ego thats getting dirty, but its still wrong.

It wouldnt bother me if I didnt drive a honda, but since I do, my bad rep ONLY because of these people who try to convert their economy car into a 100,000 ferrari, but stop at the $200 point, leaving the car looking like it was raped in peru....I have to fukin step in somewhere

So you see the light and point im making. I like accords somewhat, not as much as I like 6th/8th gen civics, but still you can make a accord look hella sick, usually through sleeper mods. And these mods are OEM type mods. Lets face it, how do you feel about your self when your sitting infront of a steering wheel you bought at pepboys? would you feel more satisfied if it were a genuine mugen wheel? Im sure the value of the car would go up in your own eyes.

Most of these people who just throw on these small cheap *** mods, havent sat in a nice, "quality car" Only in their buddys rusted out riced out neons, and then go out to autozone, and try and stock up on more rice, to prove to their buddys, that his ding dong is larger.

It just makes me sick really, when I see a potentially nice car, covered up in cheapness. The car looks like a child built it, but really it has the potential to rival luxury sedans in quality, if you purchase the right parts.

Now most people are too lazy to save up for nice things, hence they go out and get APC crap, and I KNOW they dont sit around and say things like "hell yea bro, how sick are my APC altezzas? huh?" Im sure they are ashamed, but they want their car to be something it will NEVER be, such as a ferrari race car. But really only thing its doing is ruining the social life for other hobbiests who love to take some thing good, and perfect on it.

I lost sight of this when I 1st got my civic, I didnt know that cheap parts, would start a domino effect that would eventually lead up to me "breaking out the duplicolor", and spray painting my interior black. I would have got more satisfaction buying a real EK9 interior. I have spent more time and money getting my car back to stock, which it will never be, since I put a mugen spoiler on the trunk, the rust has eaten 2" of area, which requires me to buy a new trunk.

Suspension is craped out, from buying **** like KYB, and cheap springs. Bushings are gone, suspension possibly warped. If your gonna do something, do it right, and realise that when your passing somebody on the highway 10mph faster than the person your racing, in vtec, your not cool. In fact they're not saying "OMG look how fast hes going! hes doing like what, 75mph&gt;?!!!! cool!"

no, they're laughing, while the ricer is getting a fake *** adrenaline rush.

After riding in my girls g35, I look at my car, and wish that I never bought a single non-OEM type aftermarket thing. I could have had the perfect car knowing what I know now.

If more people have this mentality, actually having a honda would be something to be proud of.
