High beams on 100% of time.
I purchased a car, and the high beams are stuck on all the time.
I have HID's in the car as well. Im just wondering if anyone whose ever run into this problem could help. What should I look for?
Is it in the HIDS, or more than likely not? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

oh no ****? so the high beam light will be on regardless?
cool, good info. i'll try to retrace the owners too to see if thats how they're supposed to be.
ill also take manga's advice just to double check.

i know what happened. The previous owner wired up the relay that turns on the hids to both the low beam and high beam wire. First off he prolly did this b/c that way your hids never turn off if you turn on the high beams.
to go more into why the light is always on, when your low beams are on it puts current into the high beam wire but going in the wrong direction so the car thinks the high beams are on.
FIX: just find the high beam wire and either put a diode in it or pull it off the relay.
But i have seen some hid where you have to run the hids off the high beam and not necessarily the low beam b/c they need more current.

No, the problem has already been said. He has single xenon PnP HIDs .... only one setting. No highs, no lows. Just on and off.
